Michael Brown

Michael Brown is a founder and Managing Director of MorningView Capital. Mr. Brown has been a licensed investment advisor representative since April of 2011. Prior to becoming an investment advisor, Mr. Brown had been trading equities since 1998 and options since 2003. He is also the publisher of an online options trading newsletter, PositiveTheta.com and, since 2008, has published Pro17.com, a stock market and equity technical analysis newsletter.

Prior to Investment Advisory and Management, Mr. Brown worked in the online media advertising and publishing industry.  From 1995 to 2004, he was the founder and Chief Executive officer of ADS360, Inc., a performance based online advertising network.  In 2000, Mr. Brown co-founded CardCops, an identity theft detection and prevention service via infiltration of the dark web.  From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Brown served as President of CardCops and then as Chief Operating Officer after selling the company to The Affinion Group in 2007.

Mr. Brown studied Business at San Diego State University.  He has passed the FINRA series 65 exam.
